Did you know Dean Rhoads failed to sign the Protection of Marriage initiative?  This is Janine Hansen Independent American candidate for State Senate.  As a volunteer, I gathered thousands if signatures in all 17 counties to successfully put the Protection of Marriage Initiative on the ballot, so the people could vote on it. I have been an advocate at the State Legislature for families for many years.  All legislation passed by the Legislature should pass the family friendly test and take into consideration the economic and social impact on the family.   One of the greatest burdens on families today is the excessive taxes we pay. Some 50 to 60 percent of a family’s income goes to federal, state and local taxes much of it hidden taxes.  That’s more than families pay for food, housing, healthcare, education, and transportation combined.  I will oppose any new taxes and instead will vote to cut spending.  Please vote for Janine Hansen for State Senate.  Independent like Nevada.
